The millennial myth has accompanied the development of numerous emancipatory and utopian movements in the 2,000 year history of Christianity. This paper demonstrates how "Soldier of Fortune" magazine can be read as an apocalyptic text which expresses a postmodern and secular form of the classical millennial myth.
